Property description

In the heart of Santa Maria del Cami, just a five-minute walk from the town center, 7 exclusive townhouses with comfortable furnishings are being built. Each of the houses bears the name of one of the grapes used here for the production of delicious wines. Upon completion, a corresponding vine will be planted in the garden. This is to emphasize the connection of the project development to the wine growing area.

The particularly appealing architecture reflects this and it ensures that the houses will fit perfectly into the Mallorcan townscape in Santa Maria.

From the outside, a rather simple building with typical style elements such as the balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows with Persians, but above all the masonry made of the Mallorcan Marés stone, which was also used to build the cathedral, the Bellver Castle and the Parliament.

One will not be able to recognize the new building at first sight. If you go into
you will be surprised by the spaciousness, which you would not expect from a townhouse. A lot of light through the floor-to-ceiling, almost house-wide window front, ceiling heights of 2.70 m and the visual axis from the entrance door to the rear garden partition contribute to this to a considerable extent.

The most modern heating technology, a high-quality equipment with windows, floors from natural building materials and a very practical room layout with a cozy fireplace and TV corner for cozy warmth in the winter time and then the porch and the generously sized terrace with the pool and outdoor kitchen, already show that these houses are konziepiert for life in Mallorca.

Each of the houses will have either 3 or 4 bedrooms, 2 underground parking spaces, multi-purpose room for sauna, bodega, etc., a private pool and a wonderful roof terrace, from which the view of the Tramuntana mountains will be breathtaking.

Location

Santa Maria del Cami, often just called Santa Maria by the locals, is a bustling market town in the center of Mallorca and the capital of the municipality of the same name, which includes several villages in the surrounding area. It is located in a central plain of the island, which grants sensational views of the Tramuntana Mountains. Therefore, you could easily overlook it when passing by, but then you miss the very special charm of this place.

Santa Maria is a place of clear contrasts. Should you arrive on a quiet day, you would probably think it a dreamy, authentic Mallorcan village - with quaint stone houses and leisurely local pensioners. But far from it. Santa Maria is home to one of the most impressive markets on the entire island, and on top of that, the town serves as a hub for local artisans and vintners. In addition to its lively bars and cafes, it also holds other enticements, especially for visitors and foreign residents who are more into a luxury lifestyle.

Founded in prehistoric times, around 3000 to 1400 BC, Santa Maria has a long tradition of wine production. In the 18th century, it also gained importance as an exporter of brandy to numerous countries - within Europe and beyond. The journey to Santa Maria takes you through vast wineries and past fincas adorned with almond trees, which provide the famous white almond blossoms every January and February. During the Saracen occupation, the town was called 'Mauia', which means 'stopping point along the way', and even today Santa Maria has historically significant buildings and an ancient crossroads in its very heart.

Miscellaneous

One of the main attractions is undoubtedly the Sunday market. It is hidden away from the main street in one of Santa Maria's many hidden squares. And yet it's a breeze to find it on a market day, because all you have to do is follow the streams of shoppers.

The village of Consell, a five-minute drive away, also hosts a flea market on Sundays. Among the historically significant buildings worth seeing here in the village are a Renaissance town hall from the 17th century, once used as a prison, and a Baroque parish church from the same century.
